Tutu Sizing
At Hannah’s Tutus all of our tutus with the exception of tutus in our READY2SHIP section are CUSTOM MADE when you order. This allows you to select the sizing that works best for your little princess. Every Tutu Design is set up with a waist and length drop down, we offer a chart that suggests sizes based on ages, but please remember these are just “suggested age ranges” that size may fit but what works for one little princess doesn’t always work for another.
We do HIGHLY recommend measuring your little princess prior to ordering (especially around the waist) to avoid a tutu that will be too big and slide down on her during that special occasion. Always order the waist size that’s about ¼ to ½ an inch smaller than what her actual waist is to be safe since the waist bands are made of elastic they will stretch and grow with your little princess when she starts to grow.
How do I measure my little princess?
First, measure her waist. This is the really important measurement. While your little princess is standing straight measure her around the waist at the smallest point, make sure that the measuring tape is around her waist nicely and not too loose since you want an accurate measurement. (Ps. Don’t measure over bulky clothing)
Secondly, measure her length. Now this is optional, really you can’t go wrong on most lengths. We give many suggested lengths for instance if you plan to place bloomers under the tutu we suggest a 7/8 or 8/9 length. But, if you have an exact length in mind, such as below the knees, at the knee, ankle length, etc then you will need to measure your little girl because its hard to say if a 10 inch length will be above the knee… at the knee or longer on every 1-2 year old, we all know that princesses all have different lengths to their little legs. To measure length, just start the measuring tape at her waist where the tutu will sit at and measure down to the length you would like.
Always feel free to email us at info@hannahstutus.com with any questions regarding sizing, but remember we can only suggest a sizing based on age and we always say if you are unsure to please measure because our tutus do not adjust down in size. Since all tutus are made custom to order and to the sizing you select we can not be responsible for or accept returns on purchases in which incorrect sizes selected.
Suggested Sizes: (provided in inches) these waist sizes will stretch several inches for growth for instance a 18 waist stretches to 21/22 + inches, the lengths are only suggested you may get longer or shorter depending on the look you like.

3-6 Months 16 Waist 6/7 Length
6-12 Months 17 Waist 7/8 Length
12-24 Months 18 Waist 8/9 Length * 10 Length **

*8/9 Length is maximum length we suggest if you are planning to show off cute bloomers under a tutu
